VISIT CASA CORAZON IN LOS ZACATITOS
Los Zacatitos is a tiny, friendly community eight miles east of San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. It is a desert full of life with miles of nearly deserted beautiful beaches just past the Gorda Banks, world famous fishing spot, and on the road to surf spots, Nine Palms and Shipwreck.
Casa Corazon is Judith Greenleaf’s home, studio and garden. It is a retreat center dedicated to art and nature, a delight for birders. Walk to a pristine beach superb for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and whalewatching. Guest bungalows may be rented between workshops, or during them if space is available.
The entire property, house and garden on an acre, is for rent between May 15 and November 15. Contact the artist for pictures and details.

WATERCOLORS CELEBRATING NATURE
Judith’s paintings are inspired by the natural world. She paints (and teaches) at places she loves, often in her own gardens. Her paintings start outdoors, but usually get completed in the studio. As she tells her students, painting is poetry, not journalism, so she doesn’t want to be so influenced by what she sees that there is no space for her personal response.
SCULPTURE AND DRAWINGS INSPIRED BY THE FIGURE
In clay, bronze, and cast stone, expressive sculptures reflect Judithıs love of movement, myth, art history, and dance, as well as the beauty and power of the human figure and its emotional and spiritual implications.
The drawings in ink, charcoal, pastel, and mixed media, and the figurative watercolors are dramatic and personal and explore the same themes as the sculptures in a rich graphic manner.
